WINNERS

After a period of continuous competition and voting, the winners of the year-2011  Top 50 Apps have emerged! With over 160 nominations, more than 25000 votes in Facebook “Likes” and Google “+1″ and participation from over 10 countries, e27 together with SingTel Innovation Exchange (SiX) are happy to announce another milestone in recognizing the top apps in Asia.

The casted votes were gathered through the efforts of the startups’ own community and supporters. It is a clear sign that the regional online audience can be motivated to vote and support their favorite apps across Southeast Asia through multiple social media platform.

The Top 50 apps that had the highest number of public votes were asked to submit a product pitch and 3 screenshots of their products to a panel of judges who would award the Most Valuable App, Rookie of the Year, Design of the Year and Solution of the Year. There was also the People’s Choice Award, which went to the most liked app during the voting period. Winners were announced at the Accelerate Conference organised by SingTel Innovation Exchange.
